There are thousands and thousands of sports blogs out there. People giving their opinions on sports subjects because they think that they can do a better job than the paid professionals. Here at fightingdobermans.com you won’t find that. Actually, you probably will.

What makes me different is that I am actually have a journalism degree (yeah, it took me nine years to get it, but I still have one) and I actually am a paid professional sports writer. I write for a weekly community paper called, guess what?, yep, The Paper. Our website only has a map on it, but hopefully we’ll be up and running soon.
Our paper is owned by the Gainesville Times which is a pretty big deal. And while I only get paid to cover and write about high school sports, here you will be able to find out my view on the major happenings in the world of professional, college and amateur sports.

Some of the posts will be funny, some will be serious, and the majority of them will be well written.
