A-Rod no longer loves Jeet

Do you love me? Please say you love me.Yeah I know it’s been almost three months since my last post, but I have been putting in mad hours at the new job, which actually pays me to write about sports, which this shit doesn’t. But when I heard the news of Alex Rodriquez admitting that his relationship with Derek Jeter isn’t what it used to be, I had to voice my opinion.

What is my response to A-Rod’s admission you ask? Well my response and opinion are very simple. NO SHIT!!

If you thought that A-Rod and Jeter were buddies than you obviously are smoking more crack then Bobby Brown and Whitney combined. I mean really. Jeter and A-Rod haven’t been close in about 13 years or around the same time Jeter was stacking up rings and A-Rod was stacking up losses on a bad Texas team.

Face it, A-Rod has always been jealous of Jeter. While A-Rod is certainly the more talented player (I can’t take that away from him), he doesn’t play the game with the intensity that Jeet does. He’s not as clutch as Jeter and he’s not as consistent when it all matters.

That, and he’s more of a media butterfly than Jeter, which really sets the two apart. Yeah, Jeter is the most loved athlete in New York and possibly the entire country, but you rarely see him in front of a camera saying what’s on his mind. With A-Rod, it’s as if we need to know every little thing that is going on with him, from his gambling issues to why he sucks in the playoffs, it’s all talked about. All by Rodriguez himself.

Jeter would never host a tri-fecta of press conferences like A-Rod did the other day and he certainly wouldn’t hold a press conference to discuss why him and A-Rod don’t get a long like they used to.

A-Rod said some dumb shit about Jeter years ago and Jeter hasn’t forgotten it. It doesn’t matter that the two play on the same team or even on the same side of the infield. What A-Rod said was down right ignorant and spiteful. He was jealous of Jeter than, and he’s jealous of him now. That’s why the two don’t get along anymore.

It’s that simple, and I don’t even need to write another post in spanish like A-Rod would.
