Tiger’s Ready To Kick Some Ass

Guess who's back...Back again..Months after his father’s passing, Tiger Woods is finally getting ready to get back out on the golf course and compete.

Word out of Tiger camp is that he’s now in full on preperation mode for the upcoming U.S. Open.

Which means one thing. Look out world.

Tiger Woods is the most fierce competitor out there. In any sport. His desire to be the best is unmatched by any other. A trait that was instilled by his father.

Part of me thinks the reason that Tiger didn’t win the Masters was because he was worried about his father’s illness. Sure, he probably wanted to win one more time for his dad…but the idea of his father possibly passing away weighed too much on his heart.

Now Tiger doesn’t have that on his mind. He has a sense of closure with his father and he has had his time to mourn.

He has had time to remember all of the times he had with his father. How his father has had such an impact on his life. How his father molded him into the outstanding individual that he is today. With all that in the past, Tiger is playing with a new motivation.

Not only is he playing with the desire and intensity to catch Nicklaus’ record of 18 majors, but he’s now playing for the memory of his father.

I think Tiger made a vow to his dad to become the greatest golfer ever. To do things that will be talked about forever. To not only win more majors than Jack did, but to do so with the humilty and strength that his father has installed in him.

Now I don’t know if Tiger did in fact make a vow to his dad. But I do know that the relationship that those two had was a special one. One that, as a soon-to-be-dad, I can only hope that I have with my son.

Earl Woods was a great man. He is responsible for giving us the greatest golfer we’ve ever seen. And with Tiger playing in memory of Earl all I can say is look out PGA. And look out world, because a newly motivated and newly focused Tiger Woods is about to make his return to his domain.

I couldn’t agree more…since marrying into a family of Jack Nichlaus fans and being forced to hear about his eternal greatness…all of the highlights I have seen don’t even compare to some of the amazing things I have seen Tiger do late on a Sunday afternoon or Hell -early on a friday morning in order to catch up! Just wait world - the best is yet to come! Buy a BUICK and support the poor fool!
